How to activate cheats on PlayStation 2

Load your game and make a separate save first.
Check each cheat's instructions — some are entered during gameplay, others on a menu or title screen.
Enter the button sequence or code exactly; timing matters for pad-based cheats.
Most games confirm with a message or sound when a cheat works.

Some cheats can disable saving or break progress. Never save over your main file with cheats active unless you're sure it's safe.
